Who We Represent

First and foremost, Northrim Benefits Group, LLC (NBG) represents the interest of our clients. As your advisor, we act on your behalf when dealing with insurance carriers and plan administrators, and make recommendations based on your business' best interest.

You do not pay any fees to NBG. Our income is derived from commissions paid by the insurance carriers. However, our associates are not compensated on a commission basis, so you can be assured you are getting solid, unbiased advice.

NBG is appointed with all the major employee benefit insurers licensed in Alaska. Beyond the purely legal relationship, we have developed excellent working relations with our insurance market so that we receive timely and accurate proposals as requested. In addition, many insurers have recognized NBG as a key partner in their marketing efforts in Alaska, going the extra mile to ensure we have the tools and resources needed to get their products to the market. Our knowledge of the enrollment, application, and administration processes is greatly appreciated by both our clients and insurers.
